The Autel CAN FD Adapter is an accessory designed to enable diagnostics on vehicles using the CAN FD (Controller Area Network with Flexible Data-Rate) communication protocol. This adapter acts as an intermediary between the VCI (Vehicle Communication Interface) and the vehicle's OBD-II port, allowing compatible Autel diagnostic tools to communicate with newer vehicle systems.

The adapter is specifically designed for use with Autel VCIs that do not have standard CAN FD support. It is compatible with a wide range of Autel MaxiSys tablets, including the MX808, MS906, and MS908 series. Vehicle models from manufacturers including General Motors and Ford from model year 2019 onwards use this protocol. Newer Autel diagnostic devices, such as the Ultra, MS919, and MS909, have integrated CAN FD support and do not require this adapter.

• Autel VCI Compatibility: For use with the MaxiFlash Elite J2534, VCI, VCI Mini, and VCI100.
• Easy integration: The adapter plugs directly into the vehicle’s OBD-II port, then the VCI connects to the adapter.
