VT13850C | VAG - 2.0L (TDI) | Timing set (7-piece)

The timing kit (VT13850C) is a 7-piece kit designed for locking and adjusting the crankshaft , camshafts , and high-pressure fuel pump . The kit is specifically designed for 1.4, 1.6, and 2.0-liter TDI Common Rail (CR) engines from the VAG Group, produced from 2012 onwards in the EA288 series.

The kit includes precision tools such as a crankshaft locking tool , a high-pressure pump gear locking pin , and a tension wrench . These parts are essential for properly performing timing belt maintenance, such as replacing it or adjusting the engine timing. The kit is supplied in a storage case.

Application and functionality:

This kit is used to correctly perform maintenance and repair work on the timing systems of VAG TDI CR engines.

• Crankshaft Locking: The supplied tool (OEM T10490) will lock the crankshaft in the TDC (Top Dead Center) position for correct timing.
• Locking the high pressure pump: The locking pin (OEM T10492) is used to lock the high pressure fuel pump gear during timing belt replacement.
• Timing Belt Tensioning: A tension wrench (OEM T10051) and a universal locking pin (OEM 3359) are included for adjusting and locking the belt tensioner.
• Securing the camshafts: The kit includes locking pins to lock the camshafts, which is essential when working on the timing belt.
