VT13853 | VAG - 1.0/1.2/1.4L (TSI) | Timing set (8-piece)

The timing set (VT13853) is a collection of tools for locking the camshafts and crankshaft when performing timing belt maintenance. The kit includes all the necessary components for correct timing, such as a crankshaft locking pin , a camshaft locking plate , and tools for holding the camshaft pulleys. It also includes a tension wrench and a tensioner locking pin for precisely adjusting and securing the belt tension. The tools are supplied in a sturdy storage case.

Application and functionality:

This tool set is used for replacing the timing belt and for other engine repairs that require the timing to be set.

• Camshaft Locking: Fixes the camshafts in the correct position using the camshaft locking plate.
• Camshaft Pulley Locking: Holds the camshaft pulleys in place while loosening and tightening the central bolts.
